DR. KELSEY BIANCA - RESEARCH/DISCOVERY
Professor Bianca recently completed her doctorate degree
from the University of Delaware, where she conducted two
large research projects. These led to several publications
and professional presentations. She continues to pursue her
passion for research by attending conferences and applying
for further grant support. Dr. Bianca brings her enthusiasm,
experiences, and support of scientific research into the
classroom, positively enriching her students’ educational
experience.

MEREDITH DILLENGER - TEACHING
Meredith Dillenger has single-handedly resurrected the
Horticulture Certificate Program. She has completely revised
the syllabi for the botany and soils classes, including the
development of new lab activities enhancing hands-on
learning. She is committed to student success and their
growth in the field. She often invites speakers to her classes
and organizes field trips providing opportunities for students
to engage with professionals and learn about careers in these
areas. Assistant Professor Dillenger’s enthusiasm for plants and
the environment keeps students engaged in horticulture.
