and resource fairs. These initiatives create opportunities for connection and
conversation around wellness in engaging, inclusive settings.
Looking ahead, the Wellbeing Office has an exciting lineup of upcoming
programs. Topics such as Diabetes Awareness, Suicide Prevention, Alcohol and
Gambling Prevention, Anxiety, and Stress Management will take center stage.
Students can also look forward to Study Hall programming in partnership
with Student Athletics and Career Services, as well as the creative and calming
events held before finals week.
On campus, students have access to a robust network of support resources,
including Accessibility Services, Public Safety, the Campus Food Pantry,
the Foundation Office (scholarships), Transportation Services, and the
Emergency CARES Card program. Yoga classes are also offered to students
and employees. For off-campus needs, the Wellbeing Office staff can connect
students with community-based resources tailored to their individual
situations, all free of charge.
Academic support is another cornerstone of student success at Cecil College.
The Academic Success Center provides free tutoring in any course, available
both in person and online to accommodate different schedules and learning
styles. Computer centers and collaborative study spaces across campuses
further ensure that students have the tools they need to succeed.
Equally important are the mentoring and leadership development programs
to help students build confidence and community. The Flock Peer Mentoring
Program connects new students with fellow students who can guide them
toward helpful resources and share strategies for success. Student Success
Workshops, leadership conferences, and involvement in student organizations
and clubs help foster a sense of belonging and personal growth.

Cecil College supports students
beyond graduation through the
Career Services Resource Center,
which helps them explore careers, set
goals, and gain real-world experience
through internships. Services also
include resume writing and interview
preparation, along with access to a
“Career Closet” that offers students
free professional clothing and
accessories. These resources help
students confidently prepare for
interviews, career events, and new
jobs by removing financial barriers
and supporting a strong professional
image.
Cecil College offers these essential
tools to empower students to
overcome challenges, stay focused,
and walk across the stage at
graduation with pride.
Additionally, for students struggling with food insecurity, the College
operates a Food Pantry, Grab & Go locations, and a Groceries to Go program.
