MEDICAL CODING
Physician Professional Coder Program
Medical coders are healthcare professionals in charge of processing patient treatment records and
related insurance information into a code used within the healthcare industry.
Medical billing and coding professionals work in a wide variety of settings, including physicians’
offices, hospitals, medical billing services, ambulatory centers, and insurance companies.
