CRAFTS
Kitchen Herb Wreath
This workshop teaches participants to craft
functional and decorative wreaths using
fresh or dried herbs for culinary and aromatic
purposes. Good culinary herbs to include are
rosemary, thyme, oregano, lavender, bay, and
sage. Display wreaths by hanging them on
cabinet doors, windows, or walls using hooks
and ribbon for a custom and inviting look, plus
adding a fragrant touch to the home. Note: No

JEWELRY MAKING
Basic Wire Wrapping
Students will take wire and wrap it around
itself and/or beads and other components to
create jewelry such as wire wrapped pendant
or wire wrapped loops and beads. Students
will complete several pieces of wire wrapped
components to design and create their own
jewelry. Notes: No senior tuition waiver. All
materials will be provided by instructor. Supply

Boho Necklace
When talking fashion, the word Bohemian is
used to convey an attitude and style that says
free-spirited. Students learn how to create
unique, handcrafted jewelry using techniques
such as wire wrapping, beading, and knotting,
often incorporating natural materials. The
course focuses on the relaxed, artistic, and
free-spirited aesthetic of bohemian design.

Design several types of bracelets using various
materials to create one-of-a-kind wearable art

QUILTING & SEWING
Sewing machines are provided, but you are
welcome to bring your own.
Basic Machine Quilting
Learn the complete quilting process from start
to finish and you will go home with either a
baby quilt or lap quilt. Students will design the
layout, machine piece the top, create a backing,
learn how to “sandwich” their quilt with batting,
machine quilt their piece and then apply
the binding. Note: A short fabric supply list
(approximately $30) will be provided 2 weeks
before class begins. Instructor: Topper

Intermediate Quilting
Students can continue with their project
started in Basic Machine Quilting, or students
can design and piece a beautiful quilt top.
The finished size of the quilt top will be
approximately 36” x 48”. Note: Students should
enroll at least 2 weeks before class begins
to allow time to order/purchase supplies.
