MARINE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY
Cecil College’s Marine Service Technology
program provides students with a hands-on
introduction to the marine service industry.
Topics include outboard and inboard
maintenance, marine electrical and plumbing
systems, boat safety and more.
The program includes two classes.
• Marine Service Technician I
• Marine Service Technician II
Upon completion of the program, students
can earn their Marine Service Technician
Certification.

Online Intro to Pest Management - Part I
Students will learn the basics of pest control
and prepare for a career in the pest management industry in this online course. This course
will introduce students to federal regulations
and safety, introduction to entomology and
insects, use of pesticides, and how to handle
specific pests. Students will also complete a
required externship. Instructor: Butler

Online Intro to Pest Management - Part II
This online course will build upon the
knowledge acquired in Part I of this program.
Students will continue to learn the basics
of pest control and prepare for a career in
the pest management industry. Additional
topics covered include customer service,
route management, and how to conduct
inspections. Students will also complete a
required externship. Pre-requisite: Online Pest
Management Part I. Instructor: Butler

This new program will prepare individuals
for careers in the rapidly advancing
solar energy sector. Culminating in
a North American Board of Certified
Energy Practitioners credential (NABCEP
Photovoltaic Associate™), participants
will acquire the essential skills to install,
maintain, and repair solar energy systems,
addressing the growing demand for
renewable energy solutions.

The OUPV/Six-Pack captain’s license online
course is essential for those looking to
start fishing or sailing charters, conduct
sightseeing tours, and more. Known as the
“6-Pack” license, it allows you to carry up to
six paying passengers plus a crew member on
uninspected vessels (up to 100 GRT) for both
power and sail.
