SharQui - The Bellydance Workout
Shimmy your way to fitness using authentic
bellydance moves in a fun, easy-to-follow,
non-stop dance class. There is no need for
previous dance experience. This class is
designed for every level! Students should be
dressed for movement. Bare feet or dance
shoes are recommended (shoes with strong
tread will hinder movement). Hip scarves are
not required but absolutely welcome! Note: No

DANCE FITNESS
Beginner Ballet
A beginning ballet course for those who have
ever wanted to take ballet, or for those who
wish to return to the art form. Students will
study classical barre work, proper technique,
and stretching. Whether you wish to gain or reestablish perspective of your body and the joy
of dancing, this class is for you. Note: No prior

Beginner Tap
A beginning tap course for those who have
wanted to take tap or for those who want to
return to the art form. Students will learn basic
tap steps, combinations, and routines. Notes:
Tap shoes are required. Students should wear
comfortable clothing. No prior experience

This class is for students with no dance
experience in Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Rumba,
Salsa, Swing, and Tango. Dance Sport can make
you a hit at a party or wedding and provides
wonderful aerobic exercise for all ages. Notes:

Dance Sport - Level II – Ballroom Dancing
Sign up for this course, add more steps, and
style for the Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Rumba,
Salsa, Swing, and Tango. This course assumes
a good knowledge of steps and figures from
Dance Sport Level I. Pre-Requisite Dance
Sport Level I or instructor permission. It may
benefit you to complete Level I twice. Notes:

Social Dance I
Want to improve your dancing skills for a
wedding, cruise, event or your local dance
floor? Learn the basics to a variety of dances to
get you out on the floor. Learn to identify which
dance goes with the music as well as social
dancing etiquette. Possible dances taught
include various Swing styles, Salsa, Hustle,
Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba, and Night Club Two
Step. Notes: Different Dances are offered from
7-8p. No senior tuition waiver. No partner or

Total Barre
Total Barre is a low impact, total body ballet
inspired aerobic workout. This barre-less barre
class takes place in the center floor and focuses
on finding stability and balance through the
core abdominal muscles. All movements
include traditional ballet positions of the
arms, legs, and feet. This is a great choice
for individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
Ballet enthusiasts as well as avid fitness goers
will enjoy the challenge of Total Barre. All
exercises may be modified or increased in level
of difficulty to fit the ability of all students.
Students who have any injuries to the back,
knees, or feet must consult their physician
before participating to avoid further pain to
existing injury. Notes: No senior tuition waiver.
