Chlorination Technology
The principles of chlorination will be
thoroughly covered in this one-day course.
Chlorination is important to both water and
wastewater treatment. Subjects will include
a review of various disinfection technologies
and discussion of the main types of chlorine
application systems. Additional course topics
include: safety procedures for storage and
use of chlorine tanks; current disinfection
technologies; and the major physical and
chemical characteristics of disinfection
chlorine.
